Monitoring Usage

Keep track of your usage and spending in the “My API Keys” tab on the AgentPay Hub: In the “My API Keys” tab, you can:
  • View remaining free credit for each Server.
  • See total spending and usage statistics.
  • Review detailed usage history.
  • Monitor your API Key status.

Understanding Billing

Here’s how billing works with AgentPay:
  • You’ll be charged each time you make a paid call to an MCP Server.
  • Pricing is transparently listed in the Server’s metadata.
  • Charges are processed through your AgentPay balance.
  • Free credits are consumed before your balance.

Usage Details

For each MCP Server you use, you can see:
  • Current Status:
    • Active/Inactive API Key status.
    • Remaining free credits.
    • Outstanding payments (if any).
  • Usage Statistics:
    • Total calls made.
    • Total amount spent.
    • Usage over time (daily/weekly/monthly).
  • Transaction History:
    • Individual API calls.
    • Amount charged per call.
    • Timestamp of each usage.

Handling Discrepancies

If you notice any billing discrepancies:
  1. Contact the MCP Server developer directly.
  2. For serious issues, file a report with AgentPay.
    • We’ll investigate and may refund usage or suspend problematic Servers.

Best Practices

  • Regular Monitoring: Check your usage regularly in the “My API Keys” tab.
  • Balance Management: Keep sufficient funds in your AgentPay balance.
  • Usage Patterns: Review your usage history to understand your consumption patterns.
